Pressure tanks and controls
A pressure tank holds a cushion of air so the pump can rest between uses. When the air charge is lost, the pump starts every time a tap opens, and it wears out years early. We test the tank, the pressure switch and the control box, then replace only the part that has failed.
Signs you need this
- The pump clicks on and off every few seconds
- Pressure surges and fades in the shower
- The tank sounds full of water when you knock on it
